From Booking to Receiving Your Photos

1. Chat

If you’re after a wedding photographer, let’s have a chat. We’ll go over your plans, the vibe you’re going for, and what you want your photos to feel like. It’s free, and you’re not committing to anything.

We can do it via an online chat if that’s easiest. I travel a lot for weddings too, so location really isn’t a problem.

And once you’re booked in, I’m here in the background keeping things easy — timelines, photo moments, and a plan for the group shots that doesn’t eat up your day.

2. Booking

If you’re happy to go ahead after our chat, I’ll send everything over to make it official — a simple online contract to sign, plus the booking fee. Once the contract is signed and the deposit is paid, your date is secured in my calendar.

3. Questionnaire

Around 3 months before the wedding, I’ll send you a online questionnaire to fill in. It helps me gather all the key details about your day — timings, locations, people who matter, and anything important you want me to know — so everything runs smoothly.

4. Pre-wedding consultation

About a month before the wedding, we can jump on a quick chat to go through everything together. It’s a chance to clear up any questions that pop up after the questionnaire, double-check timings, and make sure everything feels nicely lined up for the day.

5. Your wedding day

Time to enjoy it. I’ll be there to document the story as it happens, with gentle guidance when needed and zero fuss the rest of the time.

6. The best bit, image delivery

This is the “relive it all” stage. I’ll ping you an email with everything you need, so you can download your images nice and easily.

FAQ

  • I’m in Oxfordshire, and travel is part of the job I genuinely enjoy. South UK and London are regular spots, and I’m always happy to go beyond.

  • If you hate having your picture taken, you’re not alone — honestly, most couples tell me the same at the start. I’m relaxed, easy to be around, and I won’t have you doing anything weird or forced. If you’ve had a look through my portfolio, you’ll see it’s mostly chilled, natural-looking couples… and that’s usually because they’ve forgotten the camera’s even there.

  • Yes, there's a deposit to lock in your date on my calendar. Amount depends on coverage. As for booking, sooner is always better to make sure you get your preferred date. But feel free to ask about last-minute bookings too, I might just be available!

  • So, about my gear – I'm all about using top-notch Sony cameras, mostly with some really neat prime lenses. They're ace for those dimly lit moments (like your romantic first dance) without compromising on the photo quality. Plus, my cameras have dual card slots, so there's practically zero chance of losing any of your precious memories. And you know what? I'm kind of obsessed with backups. I've got loads of extra equipment just in case, because hey, you can never be too careful. Your big day deserves to be worry-free, and I'm here to make sure of that!

  • Oh, for sure! You bet I'm fully insured – it's just part of being a pro photographer. If your venue needs to see proof, no problemo. I'll zip an email over to them with all the details they need. Just let me know where to send it!
